This A5 artist book features all the Up the Mountain collection images in an affordable pamphlet form accompanied by folk song lyrics written and illustrated by the artist Elizabeth Mienert. Up The Mountain takes the reader on a journey through an Arctic landscape, where they climb, sail, fish, ski and skate in the wintery landscape of Northern Norway. Mienert uses a stark lino-cut technique to create the striking images offset by the implementation of a softer monotype technique for the typescript on the adjacent pages.
